Yes! Suddenly, out of the blue, I got this job offer from Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place! I can’t believe Mail thought this was spam! I thought Tony & Joe’s was just a nice little restaurant in D.C., but it turns out that it’s a huge international fishing concern, a company so large and prestigious, they don’t even have to spell their name the same way from one sentence to the next!
Wow! All I have to do is give them some money and enough information to completely steal my identity, and the job is mine! It’s a good thing they’re a large, legitimate company and not someone with a poor grasp of English just pretending to be that company. Otherwise I’d be in deep trouble, giving them all my info like that.
“Cleaner” is the lowest paying job, even though they still make $28/hour. But I hope I can be a chef. It should be easy to get, as it’s listed twice, so they must need twice as many. On the other hand, I hope they don’t make me a nurse, as I tend to vomit at the sight of blood, and that tends to be bad in a sterile medical environment. But I guess anything goes when there are no interviews required.
Anyway, I can’t wait until May when I get to meet all my new co-workers from around the world and we set sail for distant fisheries to harvest the bounty of the ocean. It’s all so romantic. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go scan my passport and get a cashier’s check…
