Allah’s Tuna Noodle Casserole

Following up on yesterday’s news that teabaggers are all upset at Campbell’s for selling “halal approved” soup, here’s another recipe that uses Campbell’s soup, so you can do Allah’s will while having comfort food.

  • 6 oz. egg noodles, cooked
  • 1 can of tuna, flaked
  • 1 can Campbell’s™ Cream of Mushroom Soup (or Mushroom w/ Garlic Soup!)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed (or microwaved) (can also add carrots and broccoli)
  • 1/2 cup+ shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit (GOD’S MEASUREMENT!) Stir together in bowl cooked noodles, tuna, soup, milk, peas and cheddar. Spread into 8×8 or 9×9 casserole dish. Cook the breadcrumbs in the butter for a minute or so, until slightly crisp. Spread the breadcrumbs on top of the casserole. Sprinkle the parmesan on top of the breadcrumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. Praise Allah and use a scimitar to divide the casserole into portions. This recipe can be doubled if you need to feed an entire cave.
