You Can’t Insure the First Man on the Moon

So. You’re about to boldly go where no man has gone before. But Fred, your trusty State Farm agent says the home office just ain’t gonna sign off on life insurance for someone who’s about to go to the Moon. What do you do?

Well, it turns out you get a bunch of postcards, you and your fellow astronauts sign them close to the launch date, and you have someone keep them in a safe place. If the worst happens, your family will be given a selection of instantly priceless autographs of those brave, brave American heroes who gave their lives in the pursuit of a dream.

Fortunately, everybody made it back. But the postcards are still worth some cash.
